I really love these illustrations from Jean Giraud Moebius. His works all seem to capture moments of high action and contain them into one single frame of well composed beauty.

PROTECT IP / SOPA Breaks The Internet
Find out why we need to stand up against Protect IP and SOPA to save the way we use the internet by watching this infographic from Fight For The Future.

Modeselektor feat. Otto von Schirach "Evil Twin"
I really love the style of this video, using video screens and computer desktop elements to move the story along. I had an idea for something similar to this but in a much more retro style. Something more along the lines of DOS gaming or early Windows and AOL. Check out more from the artist here.
Hello
This amazing piece comes to us from Matthijs Vlot. Just another video I wish dearly I had created myself.

Dat Ass
This is just a tiny part of a side project I am currently working on. Normally I ruin my ideas by either working too fast or losing interest so I'm really trying to take my time on this one. One of the many scenes from the corporate workplace.

Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings
I have been listening to the smooth R&B stylings of Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings I Learned The Hard Way. Not only is the music wonderful but their album art is pretty bad ass too. I suggest you give it a listen.

Iconori Books
Icinori is the publishing project of Mayumi Otero and Raphael Urwiller. Individually these two make brilliant work. Here are some examples.
But together they create amazing and unique hand crafted books.

Fotoshop by Adobé
Yes, you heard it here first folks, or more specifically, ladies. The brand new Fotoshop by Adobé has just launched. Check out this commercial promoting it! Created by Jesse Rosten.
José Luis Ágreda
I was tipped off by my friend over at To Be Shelved about José Luis Ágreda and his work. Much like my Mean Mug & Slim videos he experiments with putting cartoon figures into photographed backgrounds. The only difference is he uses paper collage to do his work. I adore his style. The photographs he uses are amazing and the characters really seem to mix well with the environments...It has in fact inspired me to try something different with the next episode of Mean Mug & Slim. I haven't felt like I have completely nailed the format I want so hopefully I will be able to take a little bit from Jose's arsenal and make something better.

NEW SHIRT - The Break Room
Yes, that's correct. Another shirt has been added to the store which makes a grand total of 4. But you have to start somewhere I guess. This was the design I was most excited to print when I started and although it took me some time to get the print just right it was totally worth it.

Via Flickr:goodness I am glad I got my film back. I have been in quite a funk lately, depression and anxiety have got me in a pretty good grip these days. BUT, I have been getting out as per my new years "resolution" or goal as I like to say. Last week I spent new years with good friends, then this week I have met another friend for a social at the yarn store in town, we are doing it again next week, as well as a visit to this property I have ALWAYS wanted to wander through. :D I met the lady who owns this land that I imagine fairies living in. Seriously. I cant wait to take MANY pictures of that. Today we are meeting a griend for coffee. I am getting out. Since I dont have a job, getting out is getting hard. This year will be different, it will be better.
My "No Chin" Face
I am really proud to say that something good has come out of the weird shapes my face makes. Recently after a holiday party one of my co-workers approached me after seeing some pictures taken of me at the party. Naturally I was making my patented "No Chin" face (see below).
Naturally I was flattered someone had taken such notice to my facial expressions because up until now I was only using them to annoy my girlfriend. Well after a few weeks of work he sent me the finished product. I couldn't be more proud. To see more of Adam Hasting's work visit his blog here or his youtube page here.

One Week In Japan
Found this video by Mike Matas very engaging. This video is made up of the nearly 4,000 photos he took in his one week trip to Japan.

Reel 2011
With the holidays finally being over I have actually had time to finish things on my plate. Yesterday I launched This 'n That and some $20 shirts (see banner above) and now I am presenting you with my 2011 reel. It's always scary to put a reel together, look at it and say, "Wow, this is terrible." But this year I feel different. There is always room for improvement, but I truly feel proud of my reel this year. I look forward to another year of creation.

Fox History & Entertainment Bumpers
I was really inspired by these bumper animations for FOX when I was coming up with an intro/outro for my reel. It's a simple yet exciting way to deliver text. Check out more from the creator here.

This 'n That and some $20 shirts
Yes, you heard right. I have finally gotten my feet wet in the shirt printing bizz. I think that's what they call it in the bizz. Anywho, either click on the shirt banner at the top of the page or on the right hand side where it says and some $20 shirts to see what it's all about. I must admit it's a little small right now but hopefully over time as interest builds I can continue to make shirts and maybe even make a few bucks while I'm at it. Here's to a good new year.
Make sure to keep on a lookout for the Shirt of the Month and new Movie Quote Shirts.
