Contests and Competitions

Alright let's be honest.  Entering your work into contests and competitions is great for many reasons.  For one it usually gives you some parameters to work against, and that always boosts creativity when you're in a rut.  Secondly it keeps your skills sharp and lastly it is just a great way to get your name out there.  I recently stumbled upon the Horror III design competition on Threadless and I think I will be entering this one. In the hotel industry there is a thing called SALT scores to rate different hotels on various aspects (such as customer satisfaction).  Needless to say, my work recently has revolved around them a lot and forced me to draw this.

Controller Evolution Part 2

After I made Controller Evolution in Illustrator I knew I wanted to turn it into an animation. Well, here it is. A hard night's work but it was a lot of fun to make. Created entirely in Apple Motion. Can you name all the theme songs?

Dumb and Dumber

Watched Dumber and Dumber last night. This was an hour long exposure of the movie I took using a Canon 40D and Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3.

The Lucas County Fair (see fig. 1). A place where everyone is a winner (see fig. 2, 3). And a quick ride is always around the corner (see fig. 4).  Just watch out for the suffocated babies (see fig. 5).
