7 Photojournalism Tips by Reuters Photographer Damir Sagolj

Don't need to say too much as the video pretty much sums it up perfectly. These are very good tips from Damir Sagolj and they seem to be the most simple and obvious things to do, but it just so happens those are often the hardest things to do as well.

  1. Journalistic-photography feels as though the athlete is reborn. This athlete is not an eye that is aesthetic --this is a muscle preconditioned beforehand. This athlete is instead a human being that must determine the obstacles, thus determining the course while shaping the story. Journalistic-photography feels as though it begins from the opposite trajectory of design principles; the designer refines and refines and refines what is aesthetic. The photographer tells the story that becomes the aesthetic.
