Oliver Wilkins brings us a very simple and elegant documentary on the craftsmen at the Quoddy Workshop in Lewiston, Maine. The particular subject of shoe makers really brings back some good memories of my grandpa, who was also a shoe maker. He had his own little workshop in the garage and all the grand kids would explore and play in it when we were younger. What is truly amazing is that Oliver was able to create this piece with only a Cannon 5D with 24-70mm and gorilla pod. Just goes to show you don't need all the fancy equipment in the world to make something effective.
